This policy explains what personal information we collect through pixcystudios.in (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Information We Collect
- Contact form details — your name, email address, phone number, service of interest, and event details, submitted when you fill out our contact form. This information is packaged into a pre-filled message and sent to us via WhatsApp when you click "Send via WhatsApp" — it is not stored on our servers or in any database by this website.
- Analytics data — if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner, Google Analytics collects pseudonymous usage data: pages visited, approximate location (city/region level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. Microsoft Clarity additionally records how visitors interact with the Site — clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement (session recordings and heatmaps) — to help us understand and improve the layout; Clarity masks common sensitive input by default. None of this data is directly identifiable to you by us.
- Session photography — if you book a session with us, the photographs and videos we take during that session are collected and processed separately from this website, under the terms agreed with you directly (see "Session Photography & Portfolio Use" in our Terms of Service).
We do not collect payment information, passwords, or create user accounts through this Site.
How We Use Your Information
We use contact form details solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss your event. We use analytics data, where you've consented to it, to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies
We use cookies only for analytics, and only after you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (used to distinguish visitors and sessions, typically retained for up to 2 years), and Microsoft Clarity may set cookies such as _clck and _clsk (used to link your visits and current session, typically retained for up to 1 year). If you decline, none of these cookies are set. This Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Third-Party Services

- Cloudinary — hosts and serves portfolio images and videos.
- Supabase — stores the Site's editable content (text, image links, service listings).
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — receives contact form inquiries as a chat message.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — processes anonymized analytics data, only with your cookie consent.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — processes session recordings and heatmap data, only with your cookie consent.
International Data Transfers
Some of the providers above (including Google and Supabase) may process or store data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, it is governed by that provider's own data transfer safeguards.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are not stored by this Site — they exist only as a WhatsApp message once sent, and are retained according to your and our own WhatsApp message history. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics per its default retention settings (typically 14 months for user-level data) and by Microsoft Clarity per its default retention settings (typically up to 1 year). Photographs and videos from booked sessions are retained per the terms agreed with you directly.
Children's Data
We offer maternity and baby photography services, which may involve photographing infants and young children. This website itself does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact form or analytics — the form is intended to be submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of themselves and their family. Consent for photographing a minor during a booked session is obtained directly from the parent or guardian as part of the booking process.
Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to file a grievance with us.
